Corey Kluber Wins AL Cy Young Award

Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber picked up the second Cy Young award of his career Wednesday. Kluber threw 265 strike outs this season – and even after spending a month on the disabled list – Kluber led the league in wins with 18 and also in ERA with an outstanding 2.25.

The 31 year-old pitcher won his first Cy Young Award back in 2014. He joins Gaylord Perry, CC Sabathia, and Cliff Lee as the only Indians pitchers to receive that honor.
