Celtics Extend Winning-Streak To 16 With Another Comeback Win in Dallas

For a moment it almost looked as if the Celtics winning-streak was going to come to an end in Dallas Monday night. The Celtics went into the 4th Quarter Down 77-69, but they weren’t going down without a fight. Boston put up 27 points in the 4th quarter, forcing the game to overtime.

The Celtics outscored the Mavericks 14-6 in overtime, winning by a score of 110-102. This extends Boston’s winning-streak to 16 games. Kyrie Irving put up 47 points – Exactly what Boston needed.

The longest winning-streak in Celtics history is 19 games. It started November 15, 2008, and ended December 23, 2008. This team could very well surpass that record – they play the Miami Heat on the road Wednesday night. After that they host the Orlando Magic, go on the road against the Pacers, and host the Pistons On Monday 11/27 – which would be the game [if they win the previous 3] that they make it 20 Straight wins.
