The top two teams went at it Monday night as the Detroit Pistons traveled to the TD Garden in Boston to take on the first-place Celtics — and Detroit brought their A-game. The Pistons defeated the Celtics by a final score of 118-108.
Avery Bradley draws a crowd in his first game back against his former team.
Tobias Harris led the team with 31 points. Andre Drummond dominated on both sides of the floor — scoring 26 points and snagging 21 rebounds with 6 assists, not to mention hitting clutch free-throws late in the 4th quarter. Avery Bradley had 13 facing his former team for the first time. Reggie Jackson scored 20 with 7 assists.
The Pistons travel to Washington to take on the Wizards Friday night. After the win tonight Pistons are now 12-6, they are now 4.5 games behind Boston in the Eastern Conference.
