The Minnesota Vikings cemented their spot in the playoffs Sunday with a convincing 34-7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Vikings clinched their second NFC North division title in the last three years.
With Aaron Rodgers missing the majority of the season with a collarbone injury and the Detroit Lions unable to find any type of consistency – Minnesota had no problem cruising their way to the division title.
Minnesota currently holds the 2 seed in the NFC and with Eagles star Carson Wentz out for the season it is very likely that they will be able to secure the number one seed – which means the road to the Superbowl would have to go through Minnesota.
“I’m proud of this team. A divisional championship isn’t the final goal.” – Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer
Superbowl 52 will be held at U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on February 4th, 2018 — and there is a very good chance fans could be cheering for the home team.
